Another fantastic team win for the ladies!
There's no stopping these women, lead home by Joy who finished 3rd
Joy now has the honor of being ineligible for the novices for the next three years - no bother stepping up to the intermediates

The men managed a 3rd place team finish with latest club member Brian O'Shaughnessy leading us into the finish
results are here: http://www.athleticswexford.com/index.p ... s&Itemid=3

no sign of the muck that Aisling was looking for :)

Intermediates are next weekend

well done to all, especially the missus :D Great to see such a good turnout from the club and team podiums for the men and women, great stuff altogether. Great to see the lads in there with two of the big guns of Wexford Athletics - SBR and Slaney Olympic

Also well done to Eve, our first underage xc representative, running a great 1k race :!: in the u10's

here's some pics of the day:

Well done everyone, great turn out with great results.

I hope there will be a good a turn out for next week, everyone can race including myself so hoping to see the ladies back in force.

Myself and Tom and few others are heading up to Kilthomas again this Tuesday night for 7pm under the lights, more the merrier.

Well done to all who competed on Sunday. Great stuff for our first time out. I think ye surprised quiet a few people, none more so than United Striders (New Ross) who the men piped to Bronze by just two points, with Brian making up two places on the last lap to secure the medals  . And Menapians who the girls beat by the same margin to claim gold. Afterwards Racing 795 was the talk of the town or should that be field with all the elder statesmen of Wexford Athletics congratulating the club on a very impressive first day out. So now the pressure is on, there is a certain level of expectation ahead of next weekend, but with more or less the same fields eligible they is no reason why we can't have another successful outing. Next week will also be the underage uneven ages (7-9 etc.) so maybe we could get a couple more into these to help out Eve. So come on Paddy, David Jnr, Josh et al.
