Yes there will be a team competition, its four to score for the women and men.
The county NOVICE champions will be decided. (A novice is anybody who has not won or come second in a county novice or higher grade road or c.c race in the last 3 years)

It will be register on the day and times will be in next weeks papers.

The next solely novice race will be the Leinster novice on 24th October, venue to be announced. But there is nothing stopping you running the county intermediate on the 10th. But don't forget if you win it you're out of novice.

What paper? Will it be trail shoes or ordinary runners considering ground should be fairly dry?
What is the usual time of day for this race and what is the distance? Athletics wexford website has very little information!

Who's eligible for novice and able to make ferns next weekend?
The girls won their first team event a few weeks ago, same again? Can the lads outdo them?
Need to be AAI registered so if you're not registered yet get your ass in gear and contact DavidF
Anyone already registered needs a written note from their Mammy if they're not gonna be there
So who else is going?
Tom and Dena are not eligible but everyone else is - I think

I intend to do this. The run from home to the course will be a nice warm up.
That's half a team any more takers???

Echo or Guardian. Bring both and have a run around the course beforehand. Get there an hour before and you'll have plenty of time to register and warm up.
I'd imagine it will start at 11 a.m. Distance is 3000m for women and 6000m for men.

Spot on.
I've just been speaking to the Ferns lads and they said we're more than welcome to go up there and run on the course before the race. They will be up in Kiltomas (out the Carnew road) tonight from 7 p.m and next Tuesday and Thursday also from 7 (it's flood light). I don't think I can make tonight but I'll be there both nights next week.

Is Mr. Moorehead around, could be a dark horse for the win.
